An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Conveyancing Solicitor to join a well-established and busy legal practice in West Cork.

This is a newly created position, arising from continued growth and increasing demand for the firm’s property services. The successful candidate will join a supportive and professional team and will have the opportunity to play an important role in the continued development and growth of the property department.

We are ideally seeking a Senior Associate-level solicitor with strong experience in residential and/or commercial conveyancing. However, Associate-level candidates with the right experience and skill set will also be considered.

This is a role with long-term career potential. There is genuine scope for progression within the firm, including a potential pathway to partnership for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will manage a varied property caseload from instruction through to completion, while providing a high standard of service and practical legal advice to clients.

We are looking for a solicitor who has:

• Qualified as a solicitor in Ireland.
• Strong experience in property and conveyancing.
• The ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• A practical and commercial approach to client matters.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.
• A genuine interest in developing their career within a progressive practice.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing a broad range of residential and commercial conveyancing matters.
• Handling transactions independently from initial instruction through to completion.
• Advising clients on all aspects of property transactions.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, licences and other property-related documentation.
• Managing correspondence and liaising with clients, financial institutions, estate agents and other professional advisers.
• Conducting and reviewing title and dealing with requisitions on title.
• Ensuring transactions progress efficiently and within required timeframes.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting more junior members of the team where appropriate.
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the property department.
